Atiyeh BOSITAN® Collection
During the depression of the early 1930s, a young man with artistic and
managerial talent was sent to Kerman by Aziz Atiyeh to take over the Atiyeh
weaving center. Georges Sirmadjieff's genius for color and quality revolutionized
the rug weaving industry in Kerman. He turned the staid colors of red
and blue to richer hues and bold designs. He led the change from dull
to sparkling color palettes in Kerman.
These rugs are hand-knotted limited production of The Atiyeh Bositan
Collection® 278 knots per square inch (444,800k/m2).
