At the turn-of-the-century, and for decades to follow, Persian craftsmen wove Atiyeh's classically-designed Oriental rugs. Today the finest Chinese weaving artists reproduce our timeless designs in several small workshops. The finest high-elevation, long-staple wools are hand-dyed to enhance a richness rarely found in the Oriental rug market. These rugs are hand-knotted in our exclusive deLuxe Quality® of 178 knots per square inch (284,800 k/m2), or our exclusive Bositan Collection® in 278 knots per square inch (444,800 k/m2)and higher.
